Shag Rock is another popular diving site at North Stradbroke Island. The open water dive site if ideal for advanced scuba divers, but even beginner divers can enjoy the location as conditions are next to perfect.
Even in shallow water, you’ll be surrounded by schools of fish and octopus. Anemones, shrimp and nudibranches are plentiful. Be sure to check out the sand patches for small loggerhead turtles and hawksbill.
