Day 1: Australia’s Great Barrier Reef Experience
Travel to the Outer Great Barrier Reef onboard ‘Reef Experience’ and spend the day relaxing, snorkelling and scuba diving amongst nature’s coral paradise.

Reef Experience Itinerary
- 07:30 – Board Reef Experience vessel at the Marlin Jetty, Cairns
- 08:00 – Departure Marlin Jetty for the trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef
- 08:30 – Tropical breakfast served on the way out to the Outer Reef, followed later by morning tea. On the way, a detailed dive & snorkelling briefing will be given
- 09:30 – Arrive at our first spectacular reef site, snorkel & dive with thousands of vivid tropical fish, giant clams, turtles, moray eels and huge Cod. Time for your guided snorkel and dive
- 12:30 – Lunch
- 13:00 – Cruise to our second location to explore forests of coral, large sea fans & black coral trees in its shallow lagoons
- 15:00 – Depart the Great Barrier Reef
- 15:30 – Glass of wine, tropical fruits, cheese & biscuits
- 16:30 – Arrive back in Cairns

We have a passion to show you Australia’s Great Barrier Reef so please make sure you understand the scuba diving laws.
Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world but also the safest scuba diving record. We are regulated by the Queensland Government Code of Practice and comply with all rules including medical as is the law.
To avoid disappointment on your day of travel we strongly recommend that all of our passengers complete our dive medical questionnaire prior to booking as some medical conditions, age and / or medications may prevent you from scuba diving. It is always our mission to provide our passengers with the very best Great Barrier Reef experience.

Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive. For multiple dives, you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive. We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possibleDay 2: Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation Beach

This tour gives you the maximum time to enjoy beautiful Cape Tribulation.

Tour Highlights & Itinerary
Get ready for a day of FUN!
- Port Douglas: A stop for a walk and swim at the famous 4-mile beach, enjoy some morning tea and get to know each other!
- Crocs!: On the way there or the way back (depending on the tides) we go looking for the famous and scary saltwater crocodiles in the wild!
- Rare Wildlife & Ancient Rainforest: We cross the Daintree River on the ferry, then hit the wild side of the road and drive through some of the oldest rainforests in the world!
- No time to mess around….let’s try and find a cassowary (dinosaur-bird….very rare but very possible). Lunch and Beach Time: Grab some food and head for the beach….free time is on the cards!
- Swimming: After lunch, you will have the chance to enjoy a swim in freshwater tropical streams!!!
- Beautiful Lookouts: Time to head home via two very beautiful lookouts and enjoy some tunes as we head back into civilisation…

Itinerary
Great Barrier Reef Experience:
07:00 – Pickup from your Cairns City accommodation
07:30 – Board Reef Experience boat at the Cairns Marina ‘A-Finger’ for check-in
08:00 – Approximate departure and Safety Talk with snorkel briefing
08:30 – After the Marine Biology presentation, join the scuba dive briefing for those participating
09:30 – Eventually, we arrive at our first spectacular reef site. Here we will snorkel and dive with thousands of vivid tropical fish, giant clams plus more.
12:30 – Lunch
13:00 – Next we will cruise to our second location to explore forests of coral, large sea fans and black coral trees in its shallow lagoons.
15:00 – Depart the Great Barrier Reef
15:30 – After we depart the reef, it is time to enjoy a glass of wine, tropical fruits, cheese and biscuits
16:30 – Arrive back in Cairns

07:20 – Departure from Cairns, heading north to Cape Tribulation
Morning/Afternoon Stop – Depending on the tides, visit Port Douglas either in the morning or afternoon
Wildlife Cruise – Embark on a crocodile cruise along the Daintree River, spotting these ancient creatures in their natural habitat
Jindalba Boardwalk – Explore the rainforest on a guided walk, surrounded by the lush ecosystem of the Daintree
Lunch – Enjoy a 2-course meal at Masons Café in Cape Tribulation, with time for a swim in the rainforest afterwards
Secret Swimming Hole – Take a dip in a hidden, croc-free swimming hole tucked away in the rainforest
Rainforest Walk & Beach Stroll – Walk through the Daintree Rainforest and along Cape Tribulation Beach, where the rainforest meets the reef
Rex Lookout – Stop to capture panoramic views of the Coral Sea and coastal landscapes
Afternoon Tea – Fresh fruit and snacks will be served to keep you refreshed during the day
Return – After a day full of adventure, relax on the journey back to Cairns, stopping for scenic views along the way

While some components of these tours are weather dependent, the itineraries may be subject to change to accommodate. After all, the weather in Far North Queensland can change quite quickly!
